ONE DAY VISIT TO Govt. Model LPS, Thycaud

The first B.Ed students of GCTE,thycaud  conducted a one day visit to govt.model LPS ,thycaud in November 18.The day I realised that how a teacher dedicates to his/her proffession. Sri Rahul V R, Assistant Professor and IQAC coordinator of GCTE guided us forthe visit
We reached school by 10 am with various toys, pencils, sweets, textbooks, xmas tree etc... Model school teachers welcomed as and talked about the changes that made in the school surrounding during covid situation. The headmaster and teachers in school have taken the initiative for this. 
The school varandas are painted with academic related things. The school has a garden area and walls are filled with paints and hanging plants . A showcase of books were in the front of office for the parents.The entry to nursery section was through a cave where they can walk or slide.
 After watching the outside view, we entered into the hall. The ceiling of the hall were painted in three designs representing sunrise,noon and sunset. Also each corner of the hall was for different activities and students interests like dance,music,reading,drawing,science,maths,craft ,etc .There was a stage in the hall for acting. 
     The students came to the hall and sat down in the floor.We welcomed them and started the programs scheduled which are song, story telling, experiment,word games,action song,magic show.Childern also participated in the program and they were very active and responsive to us.They also danced with us. After the programs, a momento was given to Sunitha teacher by Dr Jolly S,our vice principal.


There was also a studio named 'മാതൃകം'for the school where many programs of kite victers,cookery show ,etc was done.

Truly, this is an amazing experience.....I think everyone should see this school...and I am sure this will be a life time experience for everyone.

The last day of the five-day community living camp “Chiranthana”. At 6:30 AM, “Day-5” of the camp started with the ‘Aerobics’ under the guidance of Ms. Jithi J.G. (Physical Instructor at CET). As it was the last day of the camp, the students have actively participated and enjoyed the whole session. The session was ended with giving Vote of thanks to Ms. Jithi J.G. for the five days Aerobics session. The vote of thanks is given by Mrs. Chinju S. Nair (Hindi). After the Aerobics, the students were instructed to clean their respective allotted rooms. The students were instructed to assemble in the hall at 9:30 A.M. At 9:30 A.M., the Camp news session was conducted. The session was taken by the Resource Person, Mr. Harikrishnan (Motivator, Upcycling Trainer and Natural Lover). The session was conducted by presenting models of many recycled products which have been prepared by the waste materials. Teaching Practice Phase 1 : Day 5👩‍🏫

5th day of school internship program. Today, I came to school as usual and signed the attendance register in HM's room. today I have class on the 4th period. I teach the balance question of finding compound interest and give activity cards. Duty teacher was busy with the work so teacher didn't came to the class. so that many of them were not paying attention to my class I race to my voice higher than them but nothing happens . At last I gave follow activity. after the lunch I went the same class for the class management.  At 3 30 pm at time of national anthem,we stayed for lining up the students in leaving the school in disciplined way.We reminded HM and our concerned teachers that we are leaving for exams and will be coming on October 30 afternoon. I saw my classmates while leaving the school and we shared our teaching experience with them and left the school.

Teaching Practice Phase 1 : Day 1👩‍🏫

As part of B.Ed curriculum, we have school internship programe from Oct 9th,2023 to Dec 15th. For that i choose Govt model boys HSS, Thycaud.  We came to school at 9:15am. Today there was a school assembly. After that we went to staffroom. Everyone left to take their class. I got third and fourth for substitution. (8c and 9b). I had class in 5th period. (After lunch break) After lunch I also went to take class. That was 8b. I started 5th chapter money math. It was very difficult for me to manage the class. Somehow I managed to complete my lesson plan. I finished the simple interest and gave follow up activity.  At 3:30, after national anthem we left the school.
