Inauguration of Guidance Cell & Talk on Stress Management

The inauguration ceremony of Guidance Cell of GCTE was held on 9th December 2022 at 11: 30 am in General hall of the college. The programme started with the prayer of Chinju and Jessy delivered the welcome speech. The programme was inaugurated by the college  Principal  Dr.V.K. Santhosh Kumar and Dr. Joli S., Vice principal of GCTE did the felicitation. Asha Krishnan, Assistant Professor of Educational Psychology, GCTE was the programme convener. 

After the inauguration, members of Guidance Cell had organized a talk on stress management for 1st year B.Ed students. Jithin Prem, Psychology apprentice, Jeevani cell was resource person. 

He addressed many stress related problems and how it affects our life. He also addressed the ways of elimination of stress from our life and the various counselling strategies. Jithin sir nicely handled the talk with our active involvement.
This class will be very useful to manage our stress. The programme came to an end with the vote of thanks delivered by Keerthana S.S.

5th day of school internship program. Today, I came to school as usual and signed the attendance register in HM's room. today I have class on the 4th period. I teach the balance question of finding compound interest and give activity cards. Duty teacher was busy with the work so teacher didn't came to the class. so that many of them were not paying attention to my class I race to my voice higher than them but nothing happens . At last I gave follow activity. after the lunch I went the same class for the class management.  At 3 30 pm at time of national anthem,we stayed for lining up the students in leaving the school in disciplined way.We reminded HM and our concerned teachers that we are leaving for exams and will be coming on October 30 afternoon. I saw my classmates while leaving the school and we shared our teaching experience with them and left the school.

Teaching practice phase 2 : Day 30👩‍🏫

I reached school at 9:15am. After sign the attendance register, helps HM to assign substitution periods. In the 2nd and 3rd period, i went to 8H. There i taught sum of angles of polygons. As compared to the chapter equal triangles, students have more interest to study this chapter. They enjoy solving problems related to polygons. Also they completed their assignment works and submitted to me. Then at the last period, i went to 9I to taught the balance of multiplication of irrational numbers. Have to finish only one problem. At 3:30 pm, we left the school.

Community Living Camp DAY 5 💫

The last day of the five-day community living camp “Chiranthana”. At 6:30 AM, “Day-5” of the camp started with the ‘Aerobics’ under the guidance of Ms. Jithi J.G. (Physical Instructor at CET). As it was the last day of the camp, the students have actively participated and enjoyed the whole session. The session was ended with giving Vote of thanks to Ms. Jithi J.G. for the five days Aerobics session. The vote of thanks is given by Mrs. Chinju S. Nair (Hindi). After the Aerobics, the students were instructed to clean their respective allotted rooms. The students were instructed to assemble in the hall at 9:30 A.M. At 9:30 A.M., the Camp news session was conducted. The session was taken by the Resource Person, Mr. Harikrishnan (Motivator, Upcycling Trainer and Natural Lover). The session was conducted by presenting models of many recycled products which have been prepared by the waste materials.
