School Induction Day 2

Today was the 2nd day of school induction. We reached school by 9:15 am and signed attendance register. There was an assembly today in connection with the foundation day of SMSS Hindu Mahila Mandiram. 

S.M.S.S Hindu Mahila Mandiram

The Mahila Mandiram is one of the oldest non-profit making social organization in Kerala, India. It was founded in 1920 in connection with the sixtieth birthday celebrations of His Highness Sreemoolam Tirunal, the then Maharaja of Travancore. The founder Smt. K. Chinnamma was an inspectress of schools who pioneered social work among the women of the State. Aware of the problems of girl children, she visualized an institution to contribute to their welfare and progress and toiled for many years to canvas public support and collect money necessary to realize her dreams. Mahila Mandiram is an autonomous, non-political, non-profit and secular organization. It is democratic in its functioning, with its general body electing the executive committee for a 3-year term.

Assembly started by 9:30 am. Prayer, Pledge, News reading and thought of the day all was there as usual as well as one of the student gave a speech about chinnammayamma and foundation day. Also, The principal distributed certificates to the winners in the sub-district kalotsavam and she announces saturday will be working day. The assembly disperses with National Anthem. 
Then we observe the 8A mathematics class taken by lekha teacher. That was a good class. Teacher started the class with friendly conversation. After that, she introduce the new chapter 'Area of Quadrilateral' and taught in detail about the area of rectangle and parallelogram and its relation. Teacher took the class in a calm manner so the students can understand it easily. 
By 12:15 pm,  we move to mess hall for serving and for had lunch.
 After that, we discussed the portions to be taught tomorrow with maths teacher. The class was dismissed at 3 pm because of foundation day.

5th day of school internship program. Today, I came to school as usual and signed the attendance register in HM's room. today I have class on the 4th period. I teach the balance question of finding compound interest and give activity cards. Duty teacher was busy with the work so teacher didn't came to the class. so that many of them were not paying attention to my class I race to my voice higher than them but nothing happens . At last I gave follow activity. after the lunch I went the same class for the class management.  At 3 30 pm at time of national anthem,we stayed for lining up the students in leaving the school in disciplined way.We reminded HM and our concerned teachers that we are leaving for exams and will be coming on October 30 afternoon. I saw my classmates while leaving the school and we shared our teaching experience with them and left the school.

Teaching practice phase 2 : Day 30👩‍🏫

I reached school at 9:15am. After sign the attendance register, helps HM to assign substitution periods. In the 2nd and 3rd period, i went to 8H. There i taught sum of angles of polygons. As compared to the chapter equal triangles, students have more interest to study this chapter. They enjoy solving problems related to polygons. Also they completed their assignment works and submitted to me. Then at the last period, i went to 9I to taught the balance of multiplication of irrational numbers. Have to finish only one problem. At 3:30 pm, we left the school.

Community Living Camp DAY 5 💫

The last day of the five-day community living camp “Chiranthana”. At 6:30 AM, “Day-5” of the camp started with the ‘Aerobics’ under the guidance of Ms. Jithi J.G. (Physical Instructor at CET). As it was the last day of the camp, the students have actively participated and enjoyed the whole session. The session was ended with giving Vote of thanks to Ms. Jithi J.G. for the five days Aerobics session. The vote of thanks is given by Mrs. Chinju S. Nair (Hindi). After the Aerobics, the students were instructed to clean their respective allotted rooms. The students were instructed to assemble in the hall at 9:30 A.M. At 9:30 A.M., the Camp news session was conducted. The session was taken by the Resource Person, Mr. Harikrishnan (Motivator, Upcycling Trainer and Natural Lover). The session was conducted by presenting models of many recycled products which have been prepared by the waste materials.
