'1st day in cottonhill school as a mathematics teacher.'
I reached school at 9:15 am. As per timetable i have both the classes on the 6th period. So i changed 9I period to 1st period with bhagya's timetable. She also have clash on this period.So, I went 9I to take my 1st class. There was birthday girl, she gave me chocolates. then i started the topic 'Two Equations'. It was little strain to control the class under my control, later i got it. When I start at teaching , I can realise that most of the students did not know the basics of equations. Then I make them understand how to construct equations ,how to find the value of unknown etc.Then I gave one follow up to date to the basic problem so I couldn't finish my lesson plan.
In the sixth period I went to 8H and Discussed one side and discussed 'one side and two angles' of equal triangles. Here, I can able to control the class. I gave one activity related to all the three concept related to equal triangles. Follow up activity also given.
At 3:30pm, we left the school.

Just like yesterday, I came to school at 9:15 am. After prayer and pledge, i had done my lesson plan. Then i went for class management in 8C. After that, i went to class 8B for teaching the balance portion of money math. Today, i taught about compound interest. Gives activity to do. At the end of the class gave a hw question. Then after had lunch, i had done my balance work. After the national anthem, we left the school.

Our college celebrated onam celebration named ' Kalika' on 23 rd and 24 th of August. On the first day, our Principal Sujith sir inaugurated the program. He said a few words about onam and also our english teacher Omanaseelan sir sung a onam song for us. Later, many games like musical chair, Mittayiperukkal, biscuit kadi, chakkilotam etc were conducted with involvement of both teachers and students. Group dances were done by both B.Ed and M.Ed students.The prizes were also distributed for the winners of games. The first day ended with vadamvali. On the second day we had to make attapookalam and a mega thiruvathira was also organised. Both these days were really memorable. On the second day Maveli Tamburan also came to visit us.

A field visit is an integral part of the B.Ed curriculum as it helps prospective teachers to gain practical experience and knowledge in real classroom settings. It allows them to observe teaching techniques, interact with students, and understand the challenges and complexities involved in the teaching profession.  As part of this, the department of Mathematics,Commerce,Physical Science,Natural Science and geography conducted a field trip to ' Milma Dairy Plant' ,Ambalathara on 26 th of september.All of the students and teachers reached by 10 am.One of the assistant dairy officer showed and explained the working process of the plant. At the end of the trip,teachers bought us icecreams from the milma shop.
